I really can't figure this out. What is wrong with US. When I spoke to a few people they are all saying that So and SO is doing things on his own. That they have been to Haiti and are going back to Haiti to help and  that is fine with me. I know that there are some people that are giving there heart out in Haiti. However, the same way that we are criticizing our government for its lack of response...their un-caring ways about the situation it is the same way that our artists are behaving. Every one seems to be doing his own little deed on the side. Now should have been the time for a BIGGER participation on their part. Now is the time to carry that torch of the Stars and Superstars that they are known for. The people of Haiti is expecting that much from you guys.

i just want to see how long this is really going to go to see something materialized. And it's funny how these people have people coming of the boards to defend or trying to justify these people failure and irresponsibility with PRIDE. i'm going to be sellective on who i support in the HM'I' from now on....

Ki solisyon ou bezwen pou’m ba’w la? There are countless of ideas out there on how money can be raised with and by ARTISTS OF INFLUENCE. For example, look on how the American artist came together to do fund raising functions for the relief efforts. Do you understand what the term “CELEBRITY” means? Do you understand what the term “INFLUENCE” really means and in which context it’s being used here? When you understand the true meaning of these terms, then we can have a debate and I don’t mean any disrespect. But if you can’t even understand the underline meaning of the article, what can we debate here. if you really read closely, the article challenges or call on everyone not simply artists and other key HM’I’ “players”.



In that same I article, I even mentioned my desire to do, but the fact that I’m yet at the position to do big, my little contribution will only come at very small scale, you understand? The reality remains; when I try to do something, the support and the collaboration I will receive from the media and the entertainment world will be very decrepit, simply because I’m seen as a “ti atis” to most of you. Now it’s comfortable for you to recognize me as an artist simply to give your argument “leg”, but I doubt it you even know how long I have been trying to break through in the market and the fact that I don’t do compas most of you don’t support despite the significant content of my music. Now, I’m not saying I’m haven’t done or will not do my best, I’m just saying I wish I could more; if I was the position that many popular and influential artists art in. I really don’t know how to break this down for some of you to understand.

A reform must take place in this HM’I’ and there’s a desperate need for a new wave of talents and leadership-- people with good conviction and vision—people who understand their responsibilities….but I’m pessimistic this market will ever be structured and that greed will no longer be the driving source…..
Look, they can’t even get a little song done collectively….look how long it has been since it was announced that some of the most popular names were working on a song…..they still haven’t been able to get that little circumstantial song done…now if they can’t get a little song done, what can they get done collectively?
