With her exotic looks and sharp business sense, Darah D. Valville is on her way to become among the ranks of the glamour in the fashion industry.
The twenty-four-year-old Haitian-American beauty started modeling two years ago with the launch of her portfolio; she has since worked with many different photographers and appeared in numerous runway and print work. One of the highlights of her work was landing a prominent role on the new release film “The Price To Pay.”
She’s also an accountant working for the FDIC; however she continues to model and act on the side. Haitianbeatz.com had the opportunity to have an up close and personal conversation with the beauty gem.
HB- Let's start from the beginning. You were born in?
DV- I was born in Queens New York.
HB- Tell me about yourself?
I have one older brother in the Marines and we were raised by our mother with the help of a very big Haitian family. I Moved to Florida when I was 9. I graduated from high school at the age of 17 and got both academic and track & field scholarships to Florida A&M University (FAMU) where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Accounting. I did an internship and later began working for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). While working for the FDIC I started attending classes at John Casablanca Modeling School as well as testing with photographers. Shortly after I casted with Mora Junior Etienne for a role in the film "Le Prix a Payer" where I landed the role of "Angie" the best friend of Zoulnie, the main Actress (played by Misty Jean). I have also participated in other various fashion shows.
HB- How long you’ve been modeling
DV- I have been modeling for almost 2 years now
