My name is Farah Andre. A lot of people know me as Princess Farah or Thicka then a Snicka. I am a nursing graduate who plans on attending school for my Masters in forensics to excel my passion in and

outside of hospitals. I am a radio personality for 617 Live as well as a television correspondent (check it out www.617live.tv). I volunteer most of my time with homeless children and the elderly. A motivational speaker for the younger generation about self esteem and about “true beauty”. I spend time playing the role of a helping hand to those who need it.

Not least I do model; I have done multiple fashion shows, hosting events, played a role in a Haitian movie called “Le Valuer De LaVie”. I have a lot of upcoming of events as well as opportunities coming to start of my year in 2010….shhhhh top secret! Lol. But overall I keep myself busy.

HB: First question, which we like to ask everyone (as an ice breaker): what are you wearing at this particular moment in time?

FA- Lol, uh oh…..I’m going to keep it PG13, all I’m going to say is... my Victoria’s secret robe!!!

HB: Additionally, you've already done some modeling work, How did that come about?

FA- Well I have always received compliments on my height, got asked a lot of questions of “why” don’t I model etc. I did hunt around when I was younger and they were asking way too much. School was important to me and so I spent most of the money on school. As I became older I went ahead and started to take modeling more seriously since opportunities were coming to me. I enjoy it!

HB: Is it something you'd consider staying with in the coming years?

FA- Well realistically modeling doesn’t last forever. I know if I ever change my mind I have my degree in nursing to benefit from. But if modeling opened other doors for me in acting, designing or other venues I would def stick to it for as long as possible.

HB: Tell us about some of the most successful jobs you've worked on to date?

FA- Mmmmm, lets see, most of my successful jobs won’t come until 2010. So keep your ears and eyes open.

HB: What has been the highlight of your years so far?

FA- My highlight for everyday is being thankful to wake up and able to do what I do. Networking and presenting myself. I am happy for my support group.

HB: For directors or artists looking for sexy new fresh talent to feature in there next music video why should they hire you?

FA-lol, this is going to be an essay…well I have the personality, very determined to get the job done to perfection. I am open to ideas, I give ideas; speak my mind when needed and ambitious. When two people can communicate and meet half way, I’m the person you need to work with. Besides why wouldn’t you want to work with me? lol

HB-: So, when she's not at the studio or in front of the camera, what's Farah doing?

FA-when Farah has leisure time on her hands, she likes to stay home! She’s a home body, enjoying the fact that she doesn’t have to run around, be in the night life, no traveling. It’s the best thing in the world. Farah enjoys eating out, going to lounges, hanging with friends and family.

HB: What are your long term plans for your career?

FA- My long term plans for my career is to be successful, that’s all I want. I want to leave a good impression on those who look up to me.

HB: For Tell me something about you that no one knows.

FA -oooooo, so many people know so much about me…..well not too many people know I don’t have a sweet tooth, well depending on what it is ;-), I’m just kidding.. I love cheesecake!

HB: What's on your iPod / DVR / watchlist right now?

FA -o lord the list is too long to write out for this question!

HB: Guilty pleasure?

FA-The company of a significant other, when I’m in a relationship. The comfort that someone is there is so soothing.

HB: After a hard day at work what do you like to do to unwind & relax?

FA- Okay, I’m going to set the mood right now. I love scented candles ( cherry lemonade, vanilla cupcake by Yankee candle) lit in the bathroom, in the tub with dim lights and some relaxing jazz music playing with a glass of wine nearby. After releasing some energy at the gym.

HB: In 5-10-15 years, am I going to see Farah gracing the cover of Glamour Magazine?

FA- O you will see more then that, I’m going to take over the world…be prepared! lol

HB: Can you walk us through what your typical day is like?

FA -where do I start, I wake up at 4:30am, say “thank you” for waking up. Leave for work 12 hrs shift, email all day talking to photographers, managers, artists. Go to spend time with the homeless children for 3 hours. Get home, responding to more emails, making calls, making sure my outfits are ready for guest appearances. Then sleep if I’m lucky!

HB: Do you get to keep any of the gowns or outfits you wear on the show? What's been your favorite dress or outfit so far?

FA
- I haven’t been able to keep gowns but have been given t-shirts, gift cards, accessories as a thank you.

HB: If you were a contestant on America’s Next Top model, what would your strategy be?

FA- Be myself, make sure I practice my game plan, take all good and bad criticisms from the judges and turn them to positive encouragement to perfection to excel to the next round.

HB: Some photographers say they encourage models to "make love to the camera." Have you ever tried that?

FA- You have to communicate to the camera in order for the camera to talk back to u. so making love to the camera isn’t all I do! *wink*

HB: What's the very best part about being a model?

FA- Everything, traveling, networking, people recognizing who you are, being happy with your hard work and just able to say I did it at the end of the day.

HB: What other projects do you have coming up?

FA- Top secret can’t be revealed, just be on the look out for me! I can say I am casting for this movie called “Hate in Her Eyes” script written by Darlene Alcindor. I also am casting for a few other movies in the making.

HB: I understand you are also a radio and television hostess…can you tell us more about it?

FA
- Radio personality is something I always wanted to do, I can be who I am and have fun with it. I can ask questions, flirt, etc. So it’s always awkward to be the one who’s getting interviewed. Television correspondent is another way of being who I am but more on a serious note (sometimes). I enjoy the fact that I can multi task and be who I am doing them. But don’t forget to check it out on www.617Live.tv !

HB: If you could hand-pick a special guest for either your radio or tv show, who would it be and why?

FA- radio it would have to be R.Kelly, Alicia keys, Musiq Souldchild, just because I am a fan and it would just be a pleasure to see how each one of them are when they are not in front of the camera.

-TV would be Denzel Washington, he’s such a good actor I would love to get some tips from him and get his inner true self on camera.
Although there are many people I would love to meet and interview, those stood out at this moment in time.

HB: Any plans for the future?

FA- Many plans for the future that I would like to work on, able to increase a project I started to work on name the Princess Farah Project. This project is primarily dealing with gathering hospital equipments and shipping them off to Haiti and other countries. Collecting school supplies for the children and being able to provide for those families of need. I would like to do so much, but one hand washes the other. In working hard and believing,it will get done.
HB: Thanks so much for speaking with us. Best of luck with all of your projects!
Thank you! Thank you for having me!!!!
