Davis is a 360 degree girl, who strives to do it all. She is a model, actress, and realtor, Alexis is also a dedicated activist who speaks on HIV and AIDS awareness. At 19 years old, she recorded a song

entitled “Finally Over You,” which has gained critical acclaim and attention from audiences overseas. She is currently launching her 2011 apparel line called “Hoo-Kong by Alexis Davis” and her diamond collection “D.R.E.A.M” (Diamonds, Rings, Earrings, and More). She is also filming a reality series, “A Queen’s Dream”.

Alexis has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, the CW 11 News, BET’s Rip The Runway and has modeled for New York Fashion Week, Macy’s Catalog, Stay on Satin, and Italian designer Cinzia Rocca. She is one of the hosts of Caribbean entertainment news show, “Bamboo Live.

The road to success is far from over. Alexis plans to be a model and mogul, making every one of her dreams come true. She also hopes to inspire those who wish to do the same. Alexis wants to pave the road for models who want to do more than walk the runway. She says, “I dream with my eyes open and I’m embracing every moment of it”.

Alexis is also Haitian by association, he publicist is Haitian-American, Ms Rita Joseph and she has hosted many Haitian events in the past, including Haitianbeatz' anniversary party, this past December.

We sat down with Ms. Davis for an up-close and personal interview:

HB-Please describe yourself briefly.

AD-My name is Alexis Davis a multifaceted woman from Queens NY, of Jamaican and Chinese decent. I just turned 20years old and I’m a Model, college student, realtor, and designer. I have a lot going on and continue to build my empire. I’ve always been motivated to get what I want by working hard. My motto is “never expect anything”.

HB-What are your special talents?

AD-Some of my special talents lye in the humanities, I advocate for those who cant themselves. I’m an avid speaker on HIV/AIDS. Also I do know how to play basketball (was on the Jr. Varsity team in high school), and I can throw down in the kitchen with desserts.

HB-Tell me about your childhood?

AD-My childhood was one of some great moments and not so great moments.  I was raised by a single mother who reinforced the importance of education, independence, respect, and humility. Throughout Jr. High school I was envied, threatened, and picked on for being me.  That was a big turning point in my life where I had to build my confidence and stand up for myself, which I did. You live and you learn. As a child I admired my great-grandmother for her fashion style, her decorating, baking skills, and the need to embrace everyone into the family. My great-grandmother and mother have been a huge influence throughout my childhood.
