Introducing new upcoming Super Model Sophia Clerius. Sophia was born in L'artibonite Verrettes. She
migrated to the US in her early teens in West Virginia, it is where she grew up. She later moved to Florida after high school to pursue her modeling career. Since then she has worked for Khol's, Walmart, essence magazine(october 2011 issue), seventeen magazine(october 2011,july 2011, june/july 2010), jC penney salon, Target and many other magazines and circulations. She definitely has more to come. She's currently attending College, pursuing a degree in Accounting.
I had the opportunity to get up-close and personal with Sophia in this short interview, introducing herself to our readers:
HB- Please introduce yourself!
SC- Hi all, My name is Sophia Clerius.
HB- What's your background in modeling? When and why did you get started? Was it for the glamour? The money? Perks? Pure kicks?
SC- I have always wanted to be a model. I started modeling professionally after high school. I moved to South Florida and submitted some photos to couple of agencies and Ford Miami signed me. No, it wasn’t for the glamour because modeling is not as glamorous as it seems. I look at modeling as a business and when you work hard you get paid well. The perks are awesome as well.
