I had the pleasure of listening to this young woman's performance, for the first time at SOBS, during the "Haitian Women in Jazz" an event organized by Papa Jube and Gashford, two of the pioneers of the Haitian Jazz Movement, where she performed alongside Emeline Michel and Melanie Charles;
instantly her voiced pulled me in and awakened a pulsation deep within growing memories of the like of Martha Jean Claude, Toto Bissainthe, Ti Corne and many of our greatest yesteryears’ Haitian women vocalist.
Like a select few young upcoming luminaries, who are helping push forward the Haitian Jazz movement, Pauline performs with many different musicians including an all female 5-piece band. Her rapport with fellow band mates on stage is palpable. She is a knowledgeable musician, not only in practice but
also in theory, she is a graduate from Berklee College of Music.

She has the qualities of a great jazz singer-perfect pitch, fine articulation, great rhythmic and improvisational skills, and an appealing voice with a sultry edge to it.
