They call her Miu which is pronounced like meeyou. She’s a young woman who has a profound sensibility for Arts. Her real name is Murielle Augustin, and she’s bourn on February 7th of 1988. She is the daughter

of a saxophonist and a milliner. She came to life with deep artistic senses. At the age of 7 she was already making her dolls cloths using her own designing skills.She did her primary studies at the church sisters of Saint-Joseph Cluny’s school, “Mère Louise” in Haiti. At the age of 9 she took conscious of her affinity for singing. She went to the secondary school at the sisters of St Anne School: “College Marie Anne” in Haiti. She just buckled the secondary school cycle and she has started university studies.

She already has approached the modeling world and has a diploma from « Murielle Création » institute. She has also developed her talent for writing. She tested her skills by sending one of her Creole texts named « Machann Pwonmennen » to a children magazine called “Petit Nouvelliste” which published her text right away. At the momment, she has put more emphasis to advancing her musical career. She had experienced successfully that expression style by achieving the semi finals of the “Soley Sound System” contest on November in 2006. She sang her first composition on a rhythm that she never experienced before, the Dancehall track of the contest. That song is called "HOT BOY". That was her first recording experience which introduced her to singing with instrumental (virtual orchestration). She recorded a new version of that song which features two young new talents, Eddy Wonder and Note, and the name of that song is “Hey (Hot Boy II)”. The artist called Eddy Wonder is her beat maker and a singer himself. They are actually working together on her solo album that will include many different styles and the versatile aspect of Miu. The album will regroup three languages expressions: English, Creole and French. Miu is also working on her first poem collection that will be illustrated by a painting artist and artistic drawer Jean Robert Philippe-Auguste.
