Born on September 21, 1969 was a Virgo baby boy by the name of Jacques Bourjolly better known as Kako. As a child Kako was very shy. He used his comical side to hide his shyness with fellow friends and classmates. Growing up he had a passion for comedy and entertaining people. He had the inspiration of his father and uncle that he mimicked all the time. As professionals comedians he always watched Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy “Raw”. Jacques nickname as a child was Jaco. How he obtained the nickname change was from his female cousin “Nika” who could not pronounce the name “Jaco” so she would always call him “Kako”. He too could not pronounce “Nika” and begun to her “Niko”. Kako began doing comedy shows in 1994 with a show called “The Gong Show”, which he started with Michel Martelly. They showcased talented artist every Tuesday.

The Gong Show was such a hit that when the sequences of shows were over the public demanded more. That is how he came up with the idea of Bingo Night. Kako has 2 projects that he is currently working on that are very dear to his heart; 1) Project smile 2) Stand up for Haiti. Project Smile is a soon to be foundation that helps 67 boys and 125 girls orphanages. Kako feels that making children smile is bigger than making grown-ups smile. When children smiles it comes from the heart. They forget the struggles that they are enduring and go to a place of happiness. He recently held a toy drive, shoe drive and also a book drive for the children of Project Smile. Kako loves his country and believes the
