About the book Marjory Sheba
Marjory Sheba is a passionate speaker and writer, born Marjory Bonzil in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti on July 18th, 1980 to Marc and Yoly Bonzil. "Sheba" which means "Host of Heaven and Peace", is a name of Semitic origin she embraced at the early age of 14 as a spirit, a vision and at times, a source of inspiration. By her 19th birthday, Marjory Sheba had completed her first volume of poetry, under the title "One Poet's Tree", penned some 300 poems and literary pieces and had a number of her writings published in nationally circulated print. In the years that followed, Sheba developed a deep passion for the arts and expanded her talents through a number of events making notable impacts in her community: presenting, directing, programming, perfecting, speaking, uplifting and winning the hearts and respect of many.

Today, Sheba runs a successful events-entertainment company called W.O.W! Events. She is an avid columnist for the Florida Caribbean Sun Newspaper, serves on the board of the Greater Haitian American Chamber of Commerce and is a contributing writer for the HSDA Observer and others. Recently, Sheba accepted the role of Organizer for Change with SEIU, headquatered in NY- the largest Healthcare union organization in the US, and is doing her part to help raise standards for service workers who struggle to make a living.

Marjory Sheba is an inspiration and having triumphed over many adversities in her youth, she is a fine example of one who did "escape from oppression through self-expression". While holding fast to her Creole roots and culture, she declares her incomparable love for Africa, identifying herself as an African-Haitian. She is an advocate of peace and a lover of wisdom; a "Conscience-guided" poet whose truth-telling poems can move a crowd of thousands! Marjory Sheba currently resides in Central Florida where she devotes herself to orchestrating and effecting cultural and educational events- upholding her quest to "Elevate, Educate & Entertain!"
