THE LIGHT....After the television program and running to Jesus, I called Alexis and told her what ad happened. She told me that I was watching the Trinity Broadcasting Network(TBN), and the larger man was Bishop George Bloomer and the other was Bishop Eddie Long.

I demanded that she take me to church. I actually wanted to go to church because I wanted to experience what I had seen on television in person. Alexis could not believe I anted to go to a church service. I told her what I was feeling about church, wearing hite and a cross. She assured me to not worry, the life she lived, was far from what I hought was the “normal” Christian experience. She said that there were millions of thers like her, who were God filled and represented the Kingdom of God by walking, iving, and demonstrating His power in this earth. She also said that she knew a church hat was powerful enough to accommodate someone of my spiritual heritage and family background. n Sunday, September 28, 2003, my son, daughter and I met Alexis at the church she
recommended. At the church, a woman was on the stage (I now know it as a pulpit) singing and speaking some strange language I did not understand. When I looked at Alexis, she was speaking the same language too, and so were most of the other people there. I did not know what to do, or think of what was going on. The only time I ever aw something like this was at voodoo ceremonies.

After the woman sang, her husband began preaching. He preached about the same thing Bishop Bloomer and Bishop Long were talking about a few days ago on TBN; and again it was specifically about my situation. His wife actually called me out of my seat and began telling me things about my family and generation. She then led both my children and myself through a prayer denouncing Satan, his lwa’s, my family’s spirituality, and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord of our Spiritual and physical lives. I will never forget the look on my son’s face as his eyes were filled with tears. It was evident that something my daughter and I were unaware of was happening to him during his confession of Jesus as Lord. You see, I named my son after my grandfather since he was my mother’s first grandson. Nevertheless, the chains of bondage, sin (separation from God) and spiritual death has been broken off our lives. The generational curse has
been BROKEN, and we have been restored to our true spirituality in God through Christ Jesus. We have been RE-POSSESSED by the MOST HIGH, ALMIGHTY GOD.
