Delta Airlines will start flying to Haiti starting June 20th 2009, from JFK Airport to Port-au-Prince Haiti from 10AM to 2 PM and returning from Port-au-Prince to JFK, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The US carrier's decision means there will be four airlines flying to Haiti, Air France, Spirit Airlines, American Airlines and soon to be Delta.  This deal was made possible by the diligent work of the charismatic singer/activist/businessman, Lord Kinomorsa Divers (King Kino) who has been working on this project since 2006.

Lord Kinomorsa Divers (King Kino) led a Delta Executives delegation for  high level meeting that took place on Thursday January 21st  in Haiti between, American Northern Group, a company which Kino is the President, the Vice President Of Delta Airlines, Sarvis James, the Prime Minister of Haiti Michele Duvivier Pierre-Louis, C.E.O. of American Northern Group, Dr. Lagny Victor, C.F.O. of American Northern Group, Emmanuel P. Louis and  C.A.O. of American Northern Group, Mario Pierre Louis. and many local officials in Haiti. The goal of the meeting was to put the final touches on the logistical aspect of the deal.
