Former Haitian band's singer Nia Mahotierre has confirmed to HB that she is indeed pregnant,engaged and will marry his fiancee Webens Louis in a few weeks. Both have met a few years ago at Club A

where Webens used to work and Zin used to perform there on a regular basis, they were not dating back than, but they remained friends throughout the years, until they met again when Nia relocated to New York a few months ago.

Nia was in the process of working on her solo career with a solo CD that was due to be released soon, but recently her rep in the New York area Papa Jube told HB that she was putting her musical career on hold so she can concentrate on her school work.  Now with this latest news, many will wonder if schooling was really the real reason for Nia deciding to put her career on hold.


The couple sent Haitianbeatz a short note a few minutes ago:

" I'm a very private person and would hate for anything false to be spreading around on the internet so i am providing this statement......... We are very happy that we are expecting and wanted to take our time to announce this but as usual privacy is hard to come by when you are a public figure. The rumors of Nia being engaged and pregnant are true. Nia and I want to thank everyone for all the well wishes and congratulations. This is a very exciting time in our lives and would hope everybody can respect our privacy as we enter this new chapter in our lives! I'm grateful for Nia being in my life and grateful for the blessings GOD has given us! Oh yeah look out for Nia's album coming soon! Thank you Peace &  Love!!!"
